How can I make my own futon mattress?
I'm a level product design and am making a futon. The only thing is that I do my own mattress and I'm not sure how? Please help !!!!!!!!
The best way is to buy a block of foam of appropriate size and cover for him. Coverage can be as simple as a pillowcase high with a couple of buttons so that open end. Make sure the foam is firm enough to that the cushion of comfortable seating, but not as dense as not to fold properly in the frame. If you can not afford to buy a block of foam (I have no idea of what it will cost) you can always remove an old piece of furniture that someone is missing. Recently, I deconstruct an old country style sofa and use the bottom frame and the foam cushion and back to a chair for my den.
